Kingston and growing up in St. Elizabeth's Cheapside District, Laden's journey is marked by personal tragedy and triumph. Following the loss of his best friend, Laden turned to music as an outlet for his emotions, leading him to participate in the TVJ Rising Star competition in 2006, where he became the first Top Ten DJ finalist despite facing criticism. Since then, Laden has collaborated with notable artists like Devonte and garnered attention from influential figures such as Stephen McGregor of Big Ship Music Company Limited. Post-Rising Stars, Laden swiftly launched his musical career, finding a pivotal opportunity with McGregor and releasing tracks like "Time to Shine" and "Really Like You," solidifying his position in the industry.
